Dr. Qamar is a general dentist and owner of this practice. Originally from Maryland, she has been living in the Berkshires for several years and considers this area her home. Dr. Qamar has a passion for dentistry and her approach is all about using current evidence to plan for a long-lasting dentition. She prioritizes taking the time to educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health, and loves learning about and implementing new technology and techniques at her practice. Dr. Qamar lives with her husband Dusty and their little daughter Marvi.
Karen Sweener, CDA
Karen is our office manager. A native of Berkshire County, Karen has extensive experience in the dental field, having previously worked as a dental assistant for three decades. A jack-of-all-trades, Karen maintains a well-run office, coordinates appointments, and ensures you have a clear understanding of your treatment and associated costs. Karen lives with her husband Bill, and dogs Emmy Lou and Willy.
Karen Healy Crofts, RDH, a.k.a. “Kay”
Kay is our wonderful hygienist and brings over three decades of experience. Kay is extremely gentle and thorough, and goes out of her way to make your appointment full of kindness and comfort. In addition to general dentistry, her background in pediatric, periodontal and prosthetic specialties give her a unique and balanced perspective. Kay takes the time to inform you about your oral health, and provide recommendations on how you can optimize it. She lives with her husband, their two children, and always a dog (or two!).
Tim DeBlois, DA
Tim is one of our dental assistants. He has a background in animation, metalworking and woodworking. Tim is skillful and detail-oriented, and focuses on making sure your appointment goes smoothly and comfortably. Tim lives with his wife Alyssa, dog Hermione, and cats Anakin and Eleven. He loves to ski.
Our Office
Our office is located in a charming 100-year-old house. We have lovingly and painstakingly updated it to provide a welcoming and comfortable space for you. You will be treated in a private, spacious room where you will have our complete attention. Our office is centrally located in the middle of the beautiful Berkshire Hills and we offer full-time hours so that you do not need to put your life on hold to improve it. We are happy to welcome new patients and our dedicated team will ensure you are satisfied with your healthy, natural smile.

For example, we utilize cassette sterilization, which ensures you are treated with sterile instruments, and have state-of-the-art mechanical equipment which conserves hundreds of gallons of water daily. We also have air purifiers to cleanse the air of impurities and pathogens, and use in-office distillation and a plumbed water cooler to reduce plastic waste and transport-related carbon emissions. Most importantly, we practice conservative dentistry to help save your resources as well as those of the planet!
